Kari Jackson focuses her practice on defending healthcare providers against medical malpractice lawsuits. She believes a healthcare provider’s ability to effectively and compassionately care for patients should not be encumbered by the anxiety associated with malpractice litigation. Her mission, therefore, is to defend healthcare providers against material and potential legal threats so they can maximize their personal and professional productivity. Many of Kari’s immediate and extended family members are health professionals, giving her a personal appreciation for the art and science of medicine. She understands that a malpractice lawsuit not only threatens a healthcare practitioner’s financial security, but also his or her personal and professional dignity.
Although every phase of a medical malpractice case is critically important, Kari thrives in the courtroom. It is not only her litigation experience, having tried over 50 cases to judgment, but also her competitive nature that drives her trial success. To Kari, there is no such thing as over-preparation. She believes that “a stellar defense is comprised of mastery of the law, knowledge of the medicine, and a willingness to outwork your opponent.”
