Steven W. Lippman

Steven’s practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters for healthcare clients.  Steven represents health systems, hospitals, physician groups and other providers.  He advises clients on various legal issues related to contract drafting and interpretation, physician alignment strategies, antitrust, clinical integration, corporate compliance, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, health reform, and other day-to-day operational matters.  He also regularly advises on Stark and Anti-Kickback matters.  “With a rapidly evolving industry from both a business and legal perspective, my focus is on strategically positioning clients for success now and in the future with the goal of having clients being viewed as industry innovators and leaders.”

For the past several years Steven has volunteered as a Coach with the Richmond Little League.  While in law school, Steven served as the Managing Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review, and was a member of the Lewis F. Powell, Jr. Inn of Court, Client Counseling & Negotiation Board, Council on Law and Economics and the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society.
