Anthony (Tony) Cottone has a substantial amount of litigation experience representing healthcare clients including national hospital organizations, healthcare institutions, small practice groups, specialized treatment facilities, and individual healthcare providers. Tony’s main focus is on defense of medical malpractice claims, but also has great experience defending clients in various other matters such as employment discrimination, commercial litigation, and general liability.
Tony says, “While we litigate cases on a daily basis, it is important to our clients that we understand their perspective when being sued. I take pride in working closely with our clients to familiarize them with the process, ease their fears and apprehensions, develop a sound and strategic litigation plan, and defend their interests aggressively and efficiently.”
Tony is engaged in many professional organizations, most notably with the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF), where he has served as chair and vice-chair of numerous committees, authored articles and presented on many topics, and has provided amicus curiae support.
