David Abel concentrates his practice on the defense of insurance companies, as well as their insureds. Mr. Abel represents clients in a wide range of disputes involving insurance coverage and liability. Before attending law school, Mr. Abel had worked in management for two of the five largest U.S. banks. Mr. Abel brings a valuable blend of experience and practical understanding to bear on complex litigation and legal matters. He works collaboratively with clients to develop and implement strategies for litigating, negotiating, and ultimately, resolving his clients’ issues. Dave understands that the other party might not always have reasonable expectations. “In those situations,” Dave says, “I will be fully prepared to zealously represent our client in court.”
When he is not working, Dave appreciates spending time with friends and family, especially his wife and two children. He also enjoys tasting craft beer, visiting the beach, and cheering on his North Carolina Tar Heels and his wife’s Virginia Cavaliers.
