Dustin Plumadore is a full spectrum Healthcare Attorney with a wide array of experience in healthcare transactional and regulatory law as well as healthcare defense litigation. His transactional experience includes providing advice and guidance to healthcare providers and businesses on issues such as the interpretation of anti-fraud and abuse statutes; Stark and Anti-Kickback analysis; HIPAA/HITECH compliance; structuring and documenting physician and provider joint ventures; designing management service organizations; negotiating various healthcare business contracts; drafting internal policies and procedures; and implementing healthcare compliance programs.
As a litigator, Mr. Plumadore has represented physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare related businesses in the successful defense of professional liability and general liability matters. He has also provided advice and representation to physicians and nurses in other matters such as licensing/credentialing issues, medical and nursing board complaints, peer reviews, and other investigations.
Mr. Plumadore received his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he was co-captain of the varsity football team and received national recognition as an All-Conference USA and NCAA All-East selection. Mr. Plumadore received his Juris Doctorate from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law and his Master of Laws in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Mr. Plumadore is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a former Field Artillery Officer. As tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to our nation, Mr. Plumadore volunteers a portion of his time to provide legal support to Legacies Alive, a dedicated non-profit serving America’s Gold Star Families.
