Hannah C. Newman

Hannah Newman is an associate at Hancock Daniel, where she advises clients in corporate transactions and regulatory compliance matters. Hannah counsels clients on federal and state fraud and abuse issues, entity formation and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other federal and state regulatory requirements. “It is my goal to provide practical strategies, models, and solutions to better serve healthcare clients in today’s complex environment.”

The healthcare industry is experiencing rapid change in the way it is delivered, funded, measured, and reimbursed. “In order to navigate through the legal and business complexities of the healthcare industry today, it is essential to understand the language. Through my experience and involvement with healthcare providers, hospitals, and health systems, I understand and can address the practical concerns they face daily. I aim to communicate with providers and healthcare organizations on an operational level while providing legal and strategic advice.” In addition, Hannah is the daughter of two healthcare providers and understands the provider’s perspective personally.

Prior to joining Hancock Daniel as a full-time associate, Hannah was a law clerk with the firm for two years while she attended law school and her master’s in health administration.
