Meghan Gosline

At Hancock Daniel, Meghan focuses her practice on counseling property and casualty insurers with respect to complex coverage issues in a wide variety of state and federal jurisdictions. She regularly represents insurers in declaratory judgment actions and other insurance coverage litigation. Meghan also practices in the areas of general liability defense and business litigation.

Upon earning her J.D. from George Mason University, Meghan began practicing law at a firm focused on business litigation and commercial transactions, where she gained experience representing business entities in forming, transitioning, and managing their businesses as well as legal issues and lawsuits that arose. Immediately prior to joining Hancock Daniel, Meghan spent several years as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Virginia, gaining invaluable trial experience prosecuting criminal cases. Over her career, Meghan has personally taken thousands of cases to trial or resolution in court, including taking more than twenty cases to jury trial as lead or solo counsel.

Meghan is an accomplished litigator with background in a variety of practice areas. She methodically applies her litigation skills and experience to advocacy for her clients. “My approach to litigation is to conduct analysis from all perspectives and prepare for all potential outcomes. Experience on both sides of the aisle has helped me hone my litigation and negotiation skills so that I can get the absolute best result for my clients.”
