Dia Bhatia

Dia advises and represents clients in defense of their medical practice as an associate attorney at Hancock Daniel. With experience in government contract disputes, Dia understands how to navigate complex civil litigation and work with subject matter experts to figure out the best trial solution for her clients. Dia knows that the legal system can be intimidating and values communication to put clients at ease.

Dia received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a double major in Homeland Security and minor in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from American University, Washington College of Law. While earning her degree, she was an executive board member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and participated in the Criminal Justice Clinic. Additionally, Dia earned her Master of Arts in International Affairs, as a part of the Joint JD/MA program. After graduating, Dia worked for the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in the Commercial Division.
