Jessica A. Swauger

Jessica Swauger is an experienced commercial litigator whose practice focuses on the representation of healthcare clients in a wide range of disputes, including those involving insurance coverage and liability.  Jessica’s understanding of high stakes litigation, combined with her collaborative approach to client services, enables her to effectively address and resolve the legal issues of Hancock Daniel clients.  “A knowledgeable, detail-oriented attorney is critical in assisting clients to navigate the complexities of litigation in the healthcare industry,” Jessica says.  “Our mission is to provide exemplary legal services in an effort to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.”

Prior to joining Hancock Daniel, Jessica spent several years at a large firm in Washington, D.C., where her practice focused on antitrust litigation.  During law school, Jessica served as a law clerk for CarMax, Inc.’s in-house legal department.  Jessica was a member of the University of Richmond Law Review, and she also enjoyed participating in the Education Rights Clinic where she had the opportunity to represent clients seeking special education services.  Jessica is a proud U.S. Navy veteran, and she participated in multiple overseas deployments before attending law school.
