Kim Daniel is the managing partner of Hancock, Daniel & Johnson, LLC. She has practiced healthcare law for more than 30 years and serves as counsel for healthcare clients across the country. Her practice is diverse in scope.
She regularly advises clients on labor and employment issues and policies, including employee benefits, and she has defended employment law cases of every variety, including matters involving alleged wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, Fair Labor Standards Act and other statutory violations, and non competition and common law disputes. Her professional activities also focus on the problems healthcare clients face on a daily basis, including disputes between hospitals and physicians, drafting and enforcing Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and related policies, credentialing and privileging issues, HCQIA and state peer review privilege confidentiality, protections and immunity, medical staff hearings, and investigations and reporting to licensing and regulatory authorities.
Kim is recognized as a leader in healthcare law and has made numerous presentations to hospital boards and medical staffs, as well as employment law and healthcare associations.
