The practice of health care necessarily combines elements of service and business, which Shevarma considers her birthright: “The daughter of a health care provider and an entrepreneur, it seems I organically gravitated to a practice that brought the two things together.” As a Corporate Associate in the Richmond office, Shevarma advises health care clients on transactional and compliance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Shevarma served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Bradley B. Cavedo and the Honorable C.N. Jenkins, Jr. at the Richmond Circuit Court. In law school, she worked as a summer associate for a small health law firm in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she worked on licensing and regulatory issues, as well as professional board and other administrative proceedings. She also successfully completed an internship with the Office of the Virginia Attorney General, working on antitrust and related issues.
