It is an unfortunate reality that most healthcare providers will face the unpleasant experience of a lawsuit at some point in their careers. Tracie understands how critical the stakes are for providers who risk a damaged reputation from a medical malpractice claim. She knows how to be calm and focused when facing complex case-related issues and what it takes to build and present a sound, persuasive defense.
“I consider how the stress of a lawsuit affects providers who must continue to focus on delivering quality care while the case is pending,” Tracie says. “I try to provide compassionate representation to Hancock Daniel clients to help ease the burden of the legal process while working tirelessly on the details of our defense strategy.”
Tracie is a partner in the firm, and has been practicing healthcare law since 2008. She has served as lead counsel for cases pending in the State and Federal courts across Virginia, D.C. and Maryland. Tracie also represents practitioners before the Department of Health Professions.
Tracie has had a number of defense verdicts reported in the list of Million Dollar Defense Verdicts by Virginia Medical Law Report. She has been selected as a “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” by Virginia Super Lawyers and Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers.
